In Godfather II, Fredo shows up late to nephew Anthony's communion party because his wife, Deanna, is drunk. She stumbles toward the house, shouting her demands to see Michael. Then she topples over drunk. When Fredo tries to pick her up, she knocks him down. Don't embarrass me, Fredo hisses.
Next, she gets so loud and falling down drunk that Michael Corleone's bodyguard approaches Fredo. "Freddie, Mike says to take care of it, or I have to."
Defeated, Fredo shrugs and Rocco hauls Deanna off so she can sober up outside of the hosts' earshot.
